Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for day-to-day Marine operations to ensure the safe navigation, mooring, ballast, and cargo operation of vessels under his care.
- Monitor the vessel’s performance as per time charter.
- Manage Navigational practice and cargo handling.
- Conduct the incident and accident investigation.
- Set up standards for manual operation, investigate operational issues and coordinate between all divisions.
- Manage vessel operation technology, vessel operation efficiency and cargo technology.
- Appointed as Lead Navigation, cargo and mooring Auditor.
- Implement the company’s objectives of the division.
- Manage navigational practices and cargo handling.
- Investigate navigational and cargo operational issues.
- Manage the ship shore communications.
- Carry out ship shore compatibility.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must hold a Marine Mariner License
- Must have sailing experience as Master on LNG vessels minimum 2 years.
- Must have working experience in ship management company.
- Familiar with international and local maritime regulations.
- Good knowledge of Ship shore compatibility process and Optimoor study.
- Certification from recognized institute to perform ISM/ISPS/MLC is preferred.
- Certification from recognized institute to perform Navigational Audits & Soft Skill Assessment is preferred.
