OBJECTIVES:

  • To equip the distributor with the right infrastructure and technology capabilities to keep pace with any anticipated growth in the local market.
  • To achieve the sales budget [sell in & sell out].

JOB SCOPE

  1. To develop and grow Traditional Trade business [by brand and category].
  2. To lead and provide strategic and execution sales plan for distributor and sales force to achieve sales budget and grow market share.
  3. To ensure merchandising standards set are met with regards to distribution matrix, stocks weights, coverage, share of shelf and in-store visibility of Kao range of products.
  4. To manage Key Account for Provision, Mini-Marts, Chinese Medical Hall, Beauty Stores, Traditional Departmental stores, Institution and other New Business Opportunity to drive sales. This shd be aligning with the sales budget and strategy.
  5. To provide the sales support in areas related to promotions, product staging and other related activities.
  6. To monitor closely on the monthly [sell in and sell out] sales and with the planned activities.
  7. To manage a team of 4 Kao exclusive Sales Reps for Traditional Trade and work closely with the distributor Management.
  8. To manage stocks inventory holding at the trade and distributor level.
  9. To conduct pre / post promotion evaluation to assess effectiveness / ROI and identify growth drivers for the business.
  10. To evaluate competitor activities and market trend to maintain competitive edge.
  11. To conduct Weekly Operational Review and Quarterly Business reviews with key customers.
  12. Work with internal teams (Market, Trade Marketing, Customer Service, Finance etc) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and services to the distributor
  13. Any other duties assigned from the Management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diploma in Sales Management or experience equivalent with minimum of 3 – 5 years relevant experience in a Traditional Trade capacity; preferably in the FMCG environment.
  • Strong leadership skills, selling skills and good ability to influence people.
  • Responsible, positive, works with discipline and integrity.
  • Must possess own vehicle.
