Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the project contract strategy with the Project Manager, the management team, and the quantity surveyors
- Contribute in strategizing and resolving complex contractual issues
- Prepare contractual reports for the Management as and when required
- Advise and ensure contractual compliance requirements, such as contractual deliverables, performance bonds, insurance etc
- Draft contractual correspondence
- Contract management and monitoring of third-party Consultants, Designers, Engineers, etc
- Prepare, monitor and co-ordinate contractual claims and records filing
- Monitor and coordinate variation orders and ensuring the quantity surveyors maintain proper records and filings
- Ensure all contractual matters relating to cost and delays with the client and the subcontractors
- Review contracts and negotiate commercial terms and conditions
- Negotiate with consultants and resolve contract issue
- Oversee procurement as well as claims and payments
- Supervise and guide team members
- Attend project meetings
- Lead contractual discussions with the Client
- Liaise with government authorities as required
- Prepare, monitor and co-ordinate insurance notifications, claims and settlement with insurer
- Preparation of progress reports, progress charts and interim progress claim
- Evaluate claims and recommend payment for subcontractors
- Provide advice and support to the Senior Project Manager/Project Manager with regards to Contract Management, Administration and Cost Control
- Conduct negotiation with new suppliers/sub-contractors and dispute management

Requirements:
- At least 5 year(s) of relevant working experience in construction is required for this position.
- Candidate must possess at least a Degree in Engineering (Civil) or equivalent.
- Preferably Managers specializing in Engineering - Civil/Construction/Structural or equivalent.
- Preferably with Singapore Class 3 driving license.
- Knowledge in Microsoft project.
