Job Description:
- Perform a variety of safety analyses for safety critical software.
- Analyzing system and software requirement documents and source code for potential safety hazards.
- Develop safety documents using applicable safety standards: SSPP, FHA, FTA, SAR, PHA etc.
- Must have a good understanding of the software development processes, had completed one or more SDLCs.
- Collaboration within a team environment while emphasizing individual contributions to produce products that are valuable to the customer.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of software development processes.
- Knowledge of safety standards.
- Software coding experience in C++/Java.
- Experience with execution and documentation of safety analyses.
- Experience with safety critical software is a plus specially with CMS system.
- Experience with safety software tools (Parasoft, MaCabe, TestWell) is a plus.
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Linux, Windows)
- Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude
- Capable of performing safety analyses within a given schedule and can work with minimal supervision
- Must have good people skills, excellent communicator and the desire to work with a highly technical team of engineers
