Job Title: Account Assistant
Location: Pasir Panjang
Working Days: Mon -Fri
Working Hours: 8.30 AM-6.00 PM (Mon - Thurs)
8.30 AM - 5.30 PM (Friday)
Basic: $2500 - $2800 (Depends on experience)

Job Duties
- Manage the daily operations of the accounts receivable function, including receipt of payments, and tracking of receivables.
- Maintain up-to-date customer files daily and at monthly accounts closing.
- Follow up on, collect, and allocate payments and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Monitor customer accounts for non-payment and/or delayed payments.
- Communicate with customers via phone and email to ensure prompt payments.
- Work closely with other departments on overdue.
- Daily verifying of cash from cash collection from customers.
- Manage and maintain the accounts payable system including processing vendor invoices, preparing payment vouchers, performing payment reconciliations, and managing accounts payable records.
- Prepare timely payments to suppliers.
- Cash-flows updating.
- Assist in the maintenance of account schedules.
- Ensure timely closing of accounts receivables and accounts payable.
- Assist in other ad-hoc accounting works.
Job Requirements
- Diploma in Accounting, bookkeeping, or equivalent.
- Candidates with at least several years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting work.
- Good understanding of accounting principles.
- Knowledge or experience in operating Sage preferred but not a must.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Detail-oriented and high degree of accuracy in financial record-keeping.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
