Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Pricing Manager to ensure swift and precise responses for pricing and quotations, catering to internal departments, overseas stations, and clients.
- Timely response to client pricing inquiries and processing of e-bids via customer portals.
- Efficiently manage tenders and RFQs for various Air-freight products when assigned.
- Gather pricing information from carriers, co-loaders, and internal network sources (product teams, overseas stations) to deliver client-specific solutions and pricing.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with carriers and co-loaders.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource for all Air-freight inquiries.
- Take responsibility for coordinating collection arrangements with both internal and external customers.
- Collaborate with vendors to plan collection schedules and provide the Air Export operation team with comprehensive execution details, including cost information.
- Thoroughly review vendor invoices for shipments arranged and ensure accuracy.
- Generate and deliver weekly and monthly reports to customers and account managers when necessary.
- Extend support to the team in ensuring speedy and accurate responses to pricing and quotation requests from internal departments, overseas stations, and clients.
- Keep track of bid-winning ratios and conduct analysis as required.
- Fulfill any other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- DG certified (Dangerous Goods Cat 6) or with DG knowledge will be an advantage
- Minimum 3-5 years of working experience in Air-freight Pricing or within the forwarding or airline industry
- Experience in negotiating and managing relationships with carriers and co-loaders
