The Expert Level Designer’s role is to produce strong open world locations and quests in an AAA production, with an influential role in surgical prototyping and benchmarking content.
Responsibilities
- Craft exceptional quests and open world locations according to vision of the game
- Share and document quest and level design knowledge with peers
- Handle script lock and script review process with the narrative team
- Drive and create level and quest design guidelines for technical systems and tools
- Prototype vanguard solutions to new types of content, ingredients or tools in a highly technical environment
- Create impeccable benchmark quests, activities or world locations for the team
- Be a strong mentor to junior and intermediate designers
