The POCT Co-ordinator will be responsible for maintaining the various POCT equipment throughout the hospital.

The POCT Co-ordinator will be responsible for maintaining the various POCT equipment throughout the hospital.
· Involve in evaluation and validation studies of new tests/instruments at all POCT locations before implementation
· Involve in accreditation inspections by external auditors
· Plan and facilitate internal POCT audit for hospital wide POCT devices
· Monitor daily results transmission from middleware to LIS (Laboratory Information System) to ensure all POCT results are successfully transmitted
· Monitor and review daily and monthly QC at various POCT testing sites
· Coordinate training program to ensure hospital wide POCT users have a proper training program in place which is customized to suit CGH POCT needs
· All POCT users have a standardized training across same instruments type
· Conduct and facilitate annual certification for POCT users to ensure users meet accreditation needs
· Facilitate POCT users in the participation of EQA survey program at all POCT sites
· Ensures all QC programmes, surveys & reports are handled according to protocols
· Provide oversight on stock usage and inventory management at POCT sites
· Provide quarterly update to POCT sites' HOD on statistics for workload and wastage
· Liaise with vendor, IT team and other stakeholders to resolve issues
· Proactive in introducing measures to improve team efficiency and effectiveness
Requirements
· Minimum 3 years of relevant POCT experience and demonstrated competency
· Degree in Biomedical Science or any other relevant discipline
· Possess good interpersonal skills and preferably with prior experience in clinical laboratory
· Possess good organisation, coordination, communication, and computer skills
· Able to work independently as well as a team in a fast-paced environment
