Roles and Responsibilities
- Procure container terminal services for best price/quality levels
- Implement TSAs and SLAs with vendors after contract negotiations
- Mitigate adverse developments in performance levels by terminals
- Ensure relevant departments are adhering to procurement results
- Improve unit cost levels constantly by either re-negotiating terms or improving operational efficiencies
- Propose more economical terminals for T/S or gateway cargo to Network and Trades
- Perform or assist in ad-hoc projects and cost saving analyses
Requirements
- Degree in relevant discipline
- Proficiency in Excel is required
- Strong analytical skills with a keen sense for numbers
- Terminal procurement experience would be advantageous
- Working experience in the Maritime industry is preferred
