Job Description:
Role 1
- Perform daily finance and accounts related activities for key business units in following areas but not exhaustive:
- Periodic reconciliations of bank, trust, suspense, control accounts, including un-matched receipts and payments and ensure outages are resolved within stipulated turnaround time.
- Trade processing including validation, confirmations, and recording of derivatives and equities trades and journals into general ledger.
- The recording of trades and journals for manually supported products are captured into general ledger, e.g., bonds, SBL and share financing.
- Submission of periodic forms submission for bank reporting.
- Drive process improvement and enhance controls for cost optimisation and mitigate regulatory, compliance and operational risks.
- Any other task as required by supervisor.
Role 2:
- Gather user requirements from users
- Draft user requirements
- Review functional specifications
- Prepare test cases
- Carry out testing
- Document new procecss
- Train users on new process
Period:
- Contract 6 months
Working Hours:
- Monday to Friday: 9am to 6pm

- Up to $3300

Requirements:
Role 1:
- Diploma or Degree holder in Accountancy, Finance or Business
- Working experience in finance and accounts operations, working knowledge in accounting and a solid appreciation of internal controls surrounding business processes.
- Strong work ethics, meticulous with an eye for details, good problem-solving skills, and an ability to work independently are traits to succeed in the role.
- Ability to manage tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Words, and macros.
- Team player, detail oriented and strong desire to learn.
Role 2:
- Diploma in finance and accounting will be advantage
- Proven experience as project manager in Financial Services
- Some knowledge of accounting principlea and bank reconciliations
- Analytical and problem solving with a keen eye for details
- Strong organisational and time management abilities to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in using accounting software, Microsoft office software such as excel
