We are looking for a skilled and compassionate midwife to join one of the private healthcare organizations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive midwifery care to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessment and clinical intervention
- Provide quality nursing care, nursing procedures and treatment to meet the general comfort and well-being of the patients.
- Monitor vitals of mothers and children
- Record and maintain proper accurate documentation of patient's progress and management rendered in the notes, medication records and charts.
- Assist doctors and attend to clinical/ medical/surgical procedures whenever necessary
- Competencies in clinical nursing skills and knowledge such as performing IV cannulation, assist in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, venepuncture for blood sampling, administering injections, ECG monitoring and interpretation, gowning and gloving of self and others.
- Undertake any other responsibilities as directed by the supervisors on-site
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Midwifery Certification
- SNB Registered
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with colleagues to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
