This is an opportunity to be a key player at a company with a great reputation in IoT semiconductor technology and growing business. We are looking for SOC director to join our newly setup team in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Identify customer pain-points in building IoT products, propose and conceptualise frameworks and solutions that help address these in an effective way
- Build proof of concepts, gain stakeholder buy-in and create product roadmap for execution and launch
- Execute product roadmap, to launch high quality products, at a fast pace
- Iterate with customers to refine the product such that it helps customers build their own IoT products at a record speed
- Work on defining product architecture that is reusable across a variety of potential user scenarios, as the product matures through various stage
- Build processes and systems to ensure high quality of deliverables
- Mentor and develop engineers across multiple technology verticals, include MCU firmware (C/C++/Rust), cloud backend (AWS/GoLang), frontend and phone applications
- Hire and setup high performing teams that can execute on the vision
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering
- Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 10 years of it in the Internet of Things domain
- Preferably hands-on experience with multiple of technologies out of firmware development (C/C++/Rust), Cloud (AWS/Golang), frontend and phone applications
- Experience in setting up and developing high performing teams is desirable
- Excellent skills in design and programming in at least one of the technological domains highlighted above
- Exceptional problems solving and analytical skills
