Job Description
Infrastructure Setup:
- Design, plan, and implement the company's IT infrastructure from the ground up, including network infrastructure, servers, and workstations.
- Procure necessary hardware, software, and networking equipment based on business requirements and budget constraints.
Systems Configuration:
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, productivity software, and security applications across all company devices.
- Set up user accounts, permissions, and access controls to ensure data security and confidentiality.
Network Administration:
- Establish and manage the company's local area network (LAN) and wireless network, ensuring high performance, reliability, and security.
- Configure firewalls, routers, switches, and other network devices to optimize network traffic and protect against cyber threats.
Data Backup and Recovery:
- Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery plans to safeguard critical business data and ensure business continuity in the event of system failures or disasters.
- Regularly test backup systems and procedures to verify data integrity and reliability.
Security Management:
- Implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect the company's IT assets and data from unauthorized access, malware, and other security threats.
- Monitor security systems and respond to security incidents in a timely manner, conducting thorough investigations and implementing corrective actions.
User Support and Training:
- Provide technical support to employees and assist them with IT-related issues, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and providing guidance on best practices.
- Conduct training sessions or develop user guides to educate employees on IT policies, procedures, and tools.
Vendor Management:
- Liaise with external vendors and service providers to procure IT products and services, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery and implementation.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate vendor performance to ensure service quality and cost-effectiveness.
Documentation and Policies:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT systems, configurations, and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and troubleshooting.
- Develop IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to govern the use of IT resources and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Job Requirement
- At least 3 years of experience in IT, preferably in a remote or distributed environment
- Proficiency in a variety of IT domains, such as networking, security, cloud computing, web development, etc.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. English language a must.
- A willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing needs
