As Service Technician, you are also responsible for providing configuration (including on-site/customer sites), installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and servicing of customers’ machines to ensure that they are functional and efficient.
What will you deliver?
- Configure, install, test and commission new machines.
- Establish and implement process specification and troubleshooting in customer sites.
- Assist and coordinate in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Perform calibration and configuration on existing machine.
- Monitor machine running performance & device improvement planning.
- Facilitate regular equipment maintenance to keep machines in working order and minimize downtime.
- Write reports to document work done on the machines.
- Apply adhesives, lubricants or other materials to machine as well as other equipment in accordance with procedures.
- Ensure proper safety and procedure related to the machines.
- Provide field service training to internal users and customers.
- Maintain database of internal and external product test data.
- Provide professional consultation to customers after each service.
- Ensure world class customer service is achieved.
- Ensure compliance with HoST’s policies and procedures.
-To provide Post Sales urgent site support based on company contractual obligations
Key Qualifications
- Certificate in Mechanical or Electrical Electronics Engineering or other related disciplines
- Min 1 – 2 years in industrial automation, with background as system integrator or OEM machine builder preferred
- Experience in machine services
- Organised, responsible, self-disciplined
- Good team player with ability to work independently and under pressure
