Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for all turnkey-based project work and selection/ management of sub-contractors to ensure project is completed on time
- Prepare and submit project plan, project progress and final reports to Head of Operations for submission to Director as part of the periodic management report
- Prepare contracts, negotiate revisions and any other changes/ additions to contractual agreements
- Plan and manage budgets
- Coordinate with other department managers within the firm to ensure that project is not delayed
- Monitor milestones and deadlines
- Analysis of data and information to recommend and ensure continuous process improvement
- Attend owner/ yard meetings if necessary
- Escalate any issues to Head of Operation if needed
- project management, material planning and expediting, site work planning and control.
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of work experience with a minimum of 3 years project work experience in shipyards
- Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in marine and offshore or industrial environment
- Education: diploma or degree in mechanical engineering
- Preferred Malay, English to liaise with Malay and English speaking associates
