Responsibilities
You will employ C++ and object-oriented coding techniques for code base development, ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices, and promote these practices within the project team.
- Interpret schematics and utilize oscilloscopes, digital analyzers, and other testing equipment for firmware design and debugging.
- Analyze electrical designs to ensure alignment with firmware requirements for broader architectural goals.
- Lead the team in developing UI/motor control firmware for embedded devices.
- Configure and utilize software code debuggers for specific processor development environments used in printers.
- Take responsibility for the growth of technicians or others within the group.
- Drive the architecture of the overall product line to maximize code reuse.
Requirements
You will need minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in the field.
- Proficiency in implementing embedded operating systems such as Microsoft CE, QNX, Micrium, etc., on target hardware.
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming languages.
- Demonstrated knowledge of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design.
- Familiarity with QT or Peg.
- Knowledge of C++ ISO/IEC 14882:2014 or higher.
- Experience with at least one embedded graphics library.
