To oversee the general maintenance safety & cleanliness of Camp Christine. This include adhering to facilities standard operating procedures, physical cleaning, managing facilities booking & campers on site including training.

The list does not represent either priorities or frequency of tasks and should be regularly updated by in consultation with and agreement of the General Administration Commissioner & reporting officer.
MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Be part of the team who support students, parents/guardians and other stakeholders both in and out of normal working hours by providing excellent customer care, advice and assistance.
2. Induct and instruct guiders on safety procedures and lodging regulations.
3. Ensure users follow correct procedures to ensure their care and welfare as per safety and security standard operating procedures.
4. Provide first aid cover, act as fire warden and call emergency services as appropriate.
5. Ensure proper management of assets, cleaning and maintenance of facilities
6. Facilitate student activity programmes as required with trainers and guiders.
7. Attend key meetings and events as required
8. Secure facilities daily, log any breaches or incidences including faults and repairs and manage vendors related to the maintenance of Camp Christine
9. Management of Camp Bookings, invoicing and proper documentation of bookings
10. Be available during all activities including staying overnight during camp activities
11. Weekly update calls to reporting officer
12. Perform such other duties as required relating to activities and events of Girl Guides Singapore.
Requirements
1. As the job requires physical work and some heavy lifting, fixing of light bulbs etc, the individual should be physically fit and able
2. Ability to use the basic functions of a computer – emailing, assessing internal systems for application of leave, submission of expenses and seeking approval / PO acquisition
3. Be able to manage emergencies (avoidance, observation & calling the necessary assistance) related to nature such as
a. Bee’s
b. Snakes
c. Wild animals
4. Basic first aid / reaction to emergency situations
Risks associated with age for the job
1. Physical ability – climbing a ladder, carrying heavy items onto trolley & expanse of space – lots of walking to cover area
2. Reaction and response ability to emergencies / situations such as sighting of wild animals etc.
3. Staying overnight alone during overnight camps to assist campers – sight and orientation
