QA Manager

Sephora Digital Sea Pte. Ltd.

Sephora Digital’s Technology team builds products that power our business across South East Asia & Oceania. We are looking for a QA Manager that will be responsible for all quality related activities for the e-commerce platform, which includes multiple localised websites, iOS and Android apps. The QA Manager will drive the overall output of the team under their scope and improve key metrics related to the quality of the e-commerce products we build. We seek an experienced manager with skills in test automation, various testing methodologies and the ability to manage offshore teams that are a mix of full time and contract employees.

Responsibilities:

  • Guide a team of QA engineers to define, review and execute / automate test cases around critical flows.
  • Gatekeep the release process of the SDLC and continuously offer improvements to our tooling and workflows.
  • Collaborate with other engineering team leads to ensure all released code and features have proper test plans to reduce risk.
  • Add business value by improving stability, performance and a better experience to customers of all our platforms.
  • Mentor, coach and develop the team and be responsible for nurturing a talent pipeline.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of QA experience in various capacities and domains where having e-commerce experience is a bonus.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, testing fundamentals, various testing methodologies and when they should be used for maximum efficiency e.g. unit, integration, end to end etc.
  • Experience in QA across different platforms such as Web (cross browser), Mobile (iOS and Android) and API level (via Postman).
  • Demonstrable experience of the value and tools (e.g. Selenium, Appium) needed to enable test automation at the most practical level.
  • Able to communicate well with stakeholders and leaders in both business and technical topics.
  • Self-organized, demonstrates strong initiative and has an eye for details.
  • Experience managing or working with globally distributed remote teams is an advantage.
