Job Description:
The Operations Manager is responsible for managing and reviewing warehouse operational policies, standards and procedures including the implementation of warehousing solutions, in accordance to warehousing business and customers’ needs.
He/she is also responsible for managing warehousing business resources, including manpower, internal assets and external vendors.
Resourceful and systematic, he/she is required to manage resources and obtain buy-in among internal and external stakeholders. He/she is also expected to lead a department and make business decisions independently
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement plans for the management of the import, export, and logistics requirements of the brand
- Develop strategies and plans for delivering service and operations excellence across multiple customer touch points
- Oversee all stock control operations in the warehouse, ensuring that there is adequate stock and all items are accounted for
- Ensure that all staff adhere to food and beverage hygiene policies and procedures
- Implement and oversee an inventory management system capable of running smoothly across all channels
- Forecast and plan for the brand’s stock requirements. Receive and process stock requirements from the boutique, corporate orders, and e-commerce site
- Conduct research and development to further improvement current business processes
- Oversee the warehouse team, ensuring that all corporate orders and stock requisitions are met within the stipulated timelines
- Ensure that all warehouse/boutique operations are compliant with WSH guidelines and advisories.
- Drive organisational discussion on adoption of the latest technology innovations and determine key messages to communicate to stakeholders for application of latest technology trends
- Plan and oversee the operations of roadshows, promotions and/or other forms of corporate events.
- Any other duties and responsibilities as deemed fit by the management
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma/Degree in Operations Management, Supply-chain Management or Retail Management
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the retail/logistics industry occupying a management position
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with good command of English
