Job Description:
- Loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe, timely manner
- Deliver orders to customers on assigned routes
- Maintain ongoing communication with route dispatcher.
- Review deliveries with customers to ensure products meet their needs.
- Collect Delivery Order documents from customer or in-house at the time of product delivery and collection
- Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
- Perform transportation duties as deployed by the supervisor and carry out the duties diligently as per instructed.
- Responsible for daily routine checks and maintain the general cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
- Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines and effectively prioritize and executes tasks in a high-pressure environment.
Job Requirements:
- Min 3 years of experience in related industry
- Class 3 / Class 4 Driving Licence compulsory
- Willing to do rotating shift work
- Able to work longer hours (when required/necessary) and have the flexibility to work wee hours in morning, late evenings, holidays and weekends with prolonged period of standing (strictly off day on weekdays)
- Field work required.
- Knowledge of GPS equipment;
- Capabilities of delivery route planning
