Our client, an esteemed global player, is looking for a Bunker Trader. The ideal candidate should have a solid 6 years of experience in bunker trading, dealing with marine fuel oil, marine gas oil and biofuel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily trading and hedging of marine and new fuels
- Develop market expertise and understand price exposure to optimize profit and loss (P&L)
- Manage existing and new contracts
- Develop new markets/clients/ areas for marine and new fuels
- Actively meet up with customers, suppliers, MPA and other market players, to establish market presence and stay at the frontier of new developments
- Close collaboration with internal and external parties on operational process
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business or equivalent
- Solid 6 years of experience in bunker trading or similar environment
- Working experience with an oil major or bunker company is a plus
- Knowledge of trading, hedging, trading operations
- Able to work comfortably across a multitude of cultures
- Ability to thrive with high-paced environment and workload, including regular travels
