About this opportunity

As a member of APAC Talent Acquisition team, this Senior Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for successfully executing hiring efforts in SEA and ANZ markets, including the commercial team and innovation team. The impact of this role is to enable Align to achieve its global ambitions, by ensuring the best talent is hired to deliver huge growth in the responsible market.


This will be achieved by providing the highest quality customer service, developing strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders; building diverse sourcing channels that achieve recruiting plans, and enhancing our company brand and candidate experience.


In this role, you will…

  • Accountable for recruiting strategy in the region of coverage to ensure that the recruitment team is proactive in achieving hiring targets, working with the team to deliver on the promise to recruit a diverse candidate pipeline.
  • Trusted partner to the business, proactively network and establish effective working relationships, ensure a cost-conscious recruitment model, continually seek new sourcing options, and develop creative approaches to delivering quality candidates to the organization promptly.
  • Understand the Company’s business needs, maintain a constant and steady focus on the marketplace, and report on market intelligence. Develop knowledge of assigned business groups’ structure, strategies, and critical skill requirements.
  • Partner with the business leadership teams and HR partners during the annual planning process and advise on strategic staffing initiatives.
  • Provide regional insight and guidance on programs such as University Relations, branding activities, and other recruiting-related initiatives.
  • Build and enforce efficient processes with global systems and tools, drive consistency, and remove roadblocks along the entire hiring process.
  • Ensure mechanisms for strong candidate pipelines are in place, working with businesses to have an effective succession planning process for senior-level roles.
  • Manage the recruitment key analytics, and dashboard as well as ensure the KPIs are met quarterly.
  • Own and manage the open positions in the region including forecasting, strategic planning, and balancing existing staffing and prioritization of fills, and building systematic, sustainable, repeatable talent solutions.
  • Create positive memorable experiences for every candidate by always going the extra mile and ensuring regular communication.
  • Deliver effectively on key metrics like recruitment channel efficiency, quality of applicant pool, time-to-fill, cost per hire, etc.
  • Being a brand champion on all platforms, consistently sharing our opportunities and telling our story, to create awareness for Align as an employer of choice across the markets
  • Maintain a consistent and fair approach to hiring and ensure our end-to-end recruitment practices comply with legal requirements.
  • Develop work closely with the HR/TA team members to become agile in our recruitment efforts.
  • Participate in APAC EVP projects and drive a compelling EVP in SEA.
  • Provide support to audit processes and quality management systems as required
  • Perform any other projects or duties as assigned.

In this role, you’ll need …

  • Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or a related field of study; Prefer Master’s degree in HR specialty or Business.
  • Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Recruitment, must have hiring experience in both Consumer and Medical Device sectors
  • Hands-on experience in direct sourcing with solid track records in recruiting mid to senior-level executives in agency and in-house recruiting role
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and partner with high-level business leaders in multiple functional areas, including commercial and non-commercial functions.
  • Strategic thinking and ‘can do’ spirit.
  • Ability to operate in a complex and highly matrix multinational environment, leveraging internal and external partners to meet the hiring needs of the client team.
  • Proven ability to manage complex TA projects.
  • Ability to build relationships that help achieve results and influence partners at every level of the organization.
  • Possess excellent communication, training, and facilitation skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of independent decision-making, as well as the ability to manage multiple recruitment assignments with aggressive timelines.
  • Agile and flexible to quickly adjust and respond to changing requirements.
