The Sera Demand Planner collects, analyzes, and aggregates customer requirements into a comprehensive demand plan delivered to Supply Planning teams through E1, SFDC, and Sera Master Production Schedule. This person will use trend analysis and other forecast techniques to assess the demand risk or opportunities by working closely with BU, sale, marketing, customer care, supply chain and FP&A. This position will lead periodic SIOP meetings to review performance and changes to plans. Ultimately, the Demand Planner is to ensure that the company meets its financial goals by improving sales with efficient forecast accuracy and inventory efficiency.
- Collaborate with divisional business and commercial teams to incorporate current and long-term customer demand information into the forecast at the product and SKU level. Ensure timely demand fulfilment and ensure alignment with AOP and monthly financial updates
- Act as liaison to Sales teams and Sera Planning team to understand and prioritize customer requirements (delivery, specifications) against product availability, process capabilities, and lead times. Track and supervise shipments status to APJ DCs.
- Develop longer term robust forecast system to meet demand requirement. Monitor and track the opportunity/deal via SaleForce, analyze and validate the data.
- Deliver actionable demand plans to Supply Planning teams (Sera Planning, site Planning and Procurement) by developing and maintaining aggregate SKU level forecasts in E1 and Sera Master Production Schedule. Integrate regional requirements, NPIs, and other demand signals to build forecasts.
- Work closely with Supply Planning to understand risks and opportunities to demand plan. Prepare performance to plan analyses and present to partners in Sales, Finance, Marketing, and Supply Planning through regularly scheduled SIOP meetings.
- Analyse demand plan performance (forecast accuracy) by measuring actual vs. planned (including backorders), supply and inventory positions performance. Prepare metrics and distribute to collaborators as feedback for continuous improvement
- Take ownership to implement process to control reserves where applicable
- Ensure SKU level volume demand plan revenue aligns with business plans and financial forecast updates.
- Work with cross-functional partners on projects such as new product launches and promotions to assimilate into demand planning assumptions
- Apply the appropriate planning and reporting systems to provide timely and accurate information to management.
- Recommend and lead improvements to demand planning and SIOP processes
- May be required to perform other related duties as the need arises and/or assigned
Experience:
2 years above in supply planning, preferably in manufacture enviroment
