Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership and Management:

Installation and Maintenance:
- Plan and coordinate the installation of telematics devices in vehicles and equipment.
- Ensure proper wiring, mounting, and connection of devices according to manufacturer guidelines and safety standards.
- Oversee the configuration and programming of telematics units and associated software.
Troubleshooting and Support:
- Assist technicians in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to telematics systems.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for complex problems.
- Collaborate with other departments or external partners to address system integration challenges.
Quality Assurance and Compliance:
- Monitor the quality of installations and maintenance work to ensure it meets established standards.
- Enforce compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Document all work performed, including detailed reports on installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Inventory Management:
- Maintain an inventory of telematics devices, tools, and equipment.
- Coordinate with procurement to ensure an adequate supply of necessary resources.
Communication:
- Interface with customers, project managers, and other relevant stakeholders to discuss project requirements and timelines.
- Provide regular updates on project status, challenges, and successes.
- Proactively gather feedback from customers for operation and system improvements
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs for technicians and organize relevant training sessions.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Equivalent experience in electrical engineering, automotive technology, or a related field.
- Several years of experience working with telematics systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in reading technical schematics and manuals.
- Familiarity with various telematics protocols and communication technologies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
