DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies, policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
- Managing the procurement process.
- Sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, quotation comparison and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services.
- Monitoring inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels while minimizing carrying costs.
- Weekly updates, annual stock-taking, forecasting, coordinating with suppliers and other department to ensure timely replenishment and implementing inventory control measures.
- Overseeing the movement of goods, ensuring efficient transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
- Collaborating with sales and marketing teams to understand market demand, analyze historical data, and develop accurate forecasts.
- Effective communication and collaboration between various departments.
- Lead the logistic team and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- To fully take charge of all procurement activities in the company such as:
- Sourcing suppliers and compare quotations, negotiate with suppliers
- Review and process purchase requirements
- Ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
- Issuance of purchasing related documents such as Purchase Order
- Prepare and maintain proper filing and records of all purchasing related documents
- Check and match and verify suppliers’ invoices, delivery orders, and other supporting
- Review, compare and evaluate products and services
- Establish and maintain a good relationship with suppliers
- Check and reconcile stock report if there are any discrepancy
- Constantly research and evaluate new prospective suppliers.
- Work hand in hand with store and operational staffs on their requirements.
- Check data entries enter into system by Store Assistant.
- Assist Admin in any administrative document.
- Assist in key in purchase invoices.
- You may be assigned to new duties/responsibility from time to time.
- Any ad-hoc or other duties.
