Job Description:

  • Formulate and execute a technology and information strategy that aligns with the overarching business strategy, ensuring technology initiatives complement and advance organizational objectives.
  • Spearhead innovation efforts by identifying and integrating emerging technologies capable of conferring a competitive advantage or enhancing operational efficiency.
  • Direct the development, implementation, and maintenance of resilient and scalable IT infrastructure, emphasizing reliability and security.
  • Supervise information systems, databases, and software applications to ensure they fulfill organizational requirements and adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  • Establish and enforce data governance policies to uphold data integrity, confidentiality, and accessibility, leveraging data assets for strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate with C-suite executives to align technology endeavors with business objectives, offering insights into how technology can bolster overall success.
  • Deploy and manage robust cybersecurity measures to safeguard digital assets, while ensuring adherence to pertinent regulations and standards.
  • Oversee relationships with technology vendors to cultivate effective partnerships and optimize investments, including negotiation of contracts and oversight of third-party services.
  • Cultivate and lead a high-performing technology team, fostering an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continual improvement.
  • Develop and manage the technology budget to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficient resource allocation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with technology and information systems to preempt potential disruptions to organizational operations.
  • Effectively communicate technical concepts to stakeholders at all levels, conveying progress and impact of technology initiatives to leadership and other stakeholders.

Job Requirement:

  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields. MBA or business qualifications are a plus.
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in technology and innovation roles.
  • Deep understanding of emerging technologies
  • Proven success in driving technological transformation and delivering innovative solutions.
  • Strong business sense to align technology with strategic goals and produce measurable outcomes.
  • Excellent communication skills to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate market trends and develop actionable plans.
  • Effective team leader fostering collaboration, creativity, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in budget management, resource allocation, and project timelines.
  • Commitment to ethical standards, diversity, equity, and inclusion in technology practices.
