General Summary
As the BD Manager, you will be responsible to drive growth and increase sales within the education space to meet the sales quota in Singapore. You will spearhead direct engagement with decision makers/influencers in universities and tertiary institutions to evangelize Crestron solution and convince them to adopt it. Ideally, you are already well connected in education space and are aware of the major players and influencers.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Generate and manage a healthy and high-growth sales pipeline via aggressive prospecting activities.
- Prospect for potential customers using various communication methods such as referral, personal network, marketing events, cold-calling or social media.
- Initiate engagement with targeted accounts and lead the opportunity development process.
- Establish strong partnerships with key purchasing decision makers and influencers.
- Work with pre-sales to propose end to end Crestron solution that can fulfill the customers’ requirements
- Ensure Crestron solution is being reference in the tender specifications
Required Competencies/Skills/Qualifications
- Min. 5 years of experience selling Learning Management System or IT Solution to the education sector
- Ability to penetrate the entire campus through a single contact
- An ambitious and resilient personality with the hunger to overachieve the sales quota.
- Engineering degree/diploma or ability to understand IT/Pro AV networking design.
- Strong network in the education space is an added advantage.
