The Senior Project Manager, Information Technology (IT), plays a critical role in overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of complex IT projects within the organization. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills to ensure successful project outcomes that align with business goals and objectives. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, develop timelines, allocate resources, and manage project risks effectively.


  1. Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale IT projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budget, and quality standards.
  2. Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, including IT teams, business units, and external vendors.
  3. Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track project progress using appropriate tools and methodologies.
  4. Allocate resources, including personnel, equipment, and external services, to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within budget.
  5. Coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT developers, engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders, to drive project execution and resolve issues effectively.
  6. Manage project risks and escalate issues as necessary to ensure timely resolution and mitigate potential impacts on project deliverables.
  7. Communicate project status, updates, and key milestones to stakeholders, including senior management, steering committees, and project teams.
  8. Conduct regular project meetings, including kick-off meetings, status updates, and post-project reviews, to ensure alignment and accountability among team members.
  9. Monitor and report on project performance metrics, including budget variance, schedule adherence, resource utilization, and customer satisfaction.
  10. Foster a collaborative and positive team environment, providing leadership, guidance, and mentorship to project team members.
