Job Description:
- Conduct toolbox meetings and implement safety and health measures at site
- Conduct regular site inspections and follow up actions to ensure HSE compliance
- Ensure each person working on site is registered in the site registry and carry out a site-specific induction for everyone
- Investigate and report on any accidents that occur and take actions to prevent re-occurrence
- Prepare Method Statements/Risk Assessments/Safe Work Procedure
- Maintain project accident statistics
- Handle all safety issues and routines at site
- Liaise with all authorities on safety matters
- Ensure firefighting and security equipment are maintained
- Ensure compliance to the Company’s Code of Conduct and mandatory regulations
Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health/Engineering or related discipline
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in marine shipyard operations
- Good in writing business/technical reporting and presentation skills
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements
- Good knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures
- Paramedic in Arm Forces and SCDF, Healthcare of Industrial background would be an added advantage
