• Responsible to identify new opportunities, including new suppliers/ clients, new partnerships for lithium-ion battery business, being the main contact for the development and management of overseas and local accounts
• Establish, build and maintain relationships with new and existing upstream lithium-ion battery companies to promote/ develop the organization’s business, gauging their needs and developing proposals to address and ultimately meet these needs
• Creating strategies to reach new business opportunities, achieving/ exceed the set targets
• Responsible for tracking & analyzing industry development, understanding the competition in the industry, developing a strong understanding of the organization’s positioning in the market
• Attending conferences and events to build relationships with industry partners and keeping up with new trends
• Lead and facilitate client required qualification and/ or on-going audits
• Effectively be the bridge and managing the communication between client and operations to ensure clients’ requirements and needs are met
• Any other ad-hoc task in relation to the role assigned by superior
Requirements
• Minimum a basic degree in any discipline, with a least 3 years in similar role; priority shall be given to those with relevant connections or work experience with EV manufacturers, battery/ battery cell factories, battery cathode and cathode materials, public transportation, BMS, etc.
• Proven track records in business development and negotiation capabilities
• Strong analytical skills with problem solving abilities; self-reliant
• Tech-savvy professional, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience
• Good communication skills (written & verbal)
• Able to contribute individually and team play simultaneously
• Able to make business related travels (20-35% of time)
• Office: Boon Lay/Pioneer | Mon – Fri: 8:30am to 5:30pm
