Job Description


We are searching for a manager to promote/organise continuing professional development amongst built environment practitioners. The manager should source and coordinate with external consultants or training vendors, partners, etc, and initiate relevant programmes, administer needs assessments, gauge skills shortages, address these through tailored programmes and ensuring their effectiveness.


Responsibilities:

  • Initiate, plan, organise, and administer the development programmes and activities such as courses, workshops, conferences, seminars, and other events.
  • Coordinating and negotiating contracts with partners, consultants, or training vendors, select and schedule training courses/programmes.
  • Manage revenue and expenditure budget for these programmes and activities.
  • Prepare EDMs and publicity collaterals.
  • Examine and choose teaching materials to ensure high quality training courses.
  • Formulate and implement programme through professional assessment.
  • Conduct research/ promote the selling of the programme/event
  • Conduct assessment to gauge usefulness of completed programmes and keeping the training programme/event relevant, including proposing strategies for improvement
  • Assist in organising corporate/social events and related activities.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, Organisation Development or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Training and Development, Coaching, Management or HR.
  • Knowledge of property industry and experience in event management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Strong desktop and in-person research, presentation, proficiency in Microsoft Office and reporting skills.
  • Energetic, determined, and highly capable disposition.
