We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer Automation (Automated Software Tester) with 4 to 5 years experience to join our dynamic and innovative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and executing automated test scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. As an Automated Software Tester, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify test requirements, create test plans, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes.
Responsibilities:
Test Automation Development:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks.
Collaborate with developers and QA team members to create comprehensive test suites that cover functional, regression, and performance testing.
Test Planning and Documentation:
Participate in requirements and design reviews to understand application features and functionalities.
Develop detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project requirements and specifications.
Document test results, report defects, and track issues to resolution.
Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD):
Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure that testing is an integral part of the development process.
Monitor and analyze automated test results, providing feedback to the development team on the quality of the software.
Collaboration and Communication:
Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and timelines.
Communicate test progress, results, and potential risks to project stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Test Environment Setup:
Assist in the setup and maintenance of test environments, including configuring test data and test infrastructure as needed.
Test Automation Best Practices:
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, tools, and techniques related to test automation.
Advocate for and implement improvements to the automated testing process.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automated software testing, including test planning, scriptdevelopment, and execution.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in test automation (e.g., Java,Python, C#)
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle, testing methodologies, and
- QA best practices.
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
- Experience with agile development methodologies.
- Able to work both independently and cooperate with other teams
- Initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness of the entire team
