Client Service Executive (Eight Wealth International)

Essential Job Functions

  • Provide day-to-day support as part of the advising team
  • Diary ownership and management, leading client servicing
  • Pre-meeting preparation of papers/documents/reports as required
  • Updating and maintaining client records and information, alongside other post meeting actions
  • Maintain a regular 1:1 catch-up meeting with the adviser(s) you assist
  • Liaise and work with team members at Eight Wealth International, Eight Wealth Management (UK Office), SJP, third parties and others as required.
  • Liaise and communicate with clients (clarifying/requesting information only or communicating advice that has been obtained from the adviser)
  • Ensure the adviser(s) are up to date with client communications/providing feedback where applicable
  • Prepare letters and emails to clients, always maintaining an awareness of compliance standards.
  • Work closely with and take instructions from the department lead
  • Build and manage client relationships and expectations
  • Carry out withdrawals, surrenders, fund switches, and obtain & manage letters of authority
  • Obtain quotes from third party providers
  • Be able to provide holiday/sickness cover for teammates where required

Knowledge and skills needed to perform the role

  • Proficient in using IT systems and applications, with good working experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Powerpoint, and Excel as a minimum)
  • Experience using Monday.com, SalesForce, MyPractice, iBusiness, DWS, MS Teams and Calendly is an advantage
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Good negotiating and conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent customer service skills – professional telephone manner, outstanding spoken and written English communication
  • Strong organisational and accuracy skills, attention to detail and data
  • Good level of numeracy
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry, ideally within wealth management
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritise the right tasks
  • Ability to work to tight and varying deadlines and the aptitude to juggle workloads
  • Detailed knowledge of Adviser client base and an overall knowledge of other client accounts.
  • Product Awareness – Offshore Investment Bonds, Pensions, personal and corporate insurance
  • Awareness of other team members roles and how they all collaborate and work together.
