Your role:
Architect the next generation of network security technical controls?
- be responsible for designing and optimizing the organization’s network security
- assess current network security posture to derive recommendations and design patterns
- align solutions with senior management priorities.
- provide support to develop & improve the quality of technical engineering documentation
- make decisions of a global, strategic nature by analyzing complex data systems and incorporating knowledge of other lines of business and UBS policy
- perform proof of concept research and development in line with emerging industry trends
- capture product design, development, and transition to operations
- perform technical architecture advisory consultation to product management/teams
Your team:
You’ll be working in the Cyber Information & Security (CIS) group of UBS, playing an important role in protecting the firm from cyber-attacks and advanced threat actors targeting large financial institutions. You’ll use your communication and analytical skills to drive change while aligned to a team of fellow Cybersecurity architects.
Your expertise:
- good experience with network security architecture.
- strong track record of successfully architecting and deploying network security solutions
- stay up to date with the industry best practices and compliance requirements to ensure robust solutions.
- ability to work both independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- experience with Cybersecurity in a mission critical environment
- financial industry experience in public cloud and experience with on-premise migration to cloud-native public cloud solutions
- expertise in Cybersecurity organization practices, operations, risk management processes, principles, architectural requirements, engineering and threats and vulnerabilities
- ability to manage competing priorities and delivery iteratively
