Primary Purpose:
Manage and supervise the daily activities of the team members in accordance to the production specifications and requirements. Ensure that the team meets standard in terms of operation efficiency, and service uptime. Develop the capability of team members.
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise a group of cameraman and guide them in all video technical set up. Review and update SOPs.
- Conduct annual review and assessment of team members training needs.
- Guide crew in camera operation (i.e. general camera system set up, angles, distances, movement) and overall operations concerning video, audio and electrical for TV production.
- Perform duty as Technical Producer for major production whenever necessary.
- Ensure production meets broadcasting standard.
- Anticipate problem and provide solution on complex issues.
- Provide contingency planning and ensure deliverable of production setup are adhered.
- Keep abreast of broadcasting technology development and industry standards and workflows. Offers recommendations for upgrades and changes to ensure operations are kept relevant and competitive.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Film Production or Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Audio related field.
- At least 10 Years of Ligting experience is preferred.
- Possess in-depth working knowledge of overall unit operations concerning camera, video, audio, lighting and electrical for TV Broadcasting.
- Possesses knowledge of camera systems, lenses and camera support equipment will be added advantage.
- Familiar with international broadcast standard, preferably ITU (International Telecommunication Union) and EBU (European Broadcasting Union) broadcast standard.
