Roles & Responsibilities:
Inspection and Quality Assurance:
- Supervise subcontractors’ preparation ACMV inspection forms.
- Conduct joint inspections with the Resident Technical Officer (RTO).
- Ensure Sub-contractors' compliance with approved shop drawings.
- Address non-compliance issues with Sub-contractors and Project Manager.
Project Management:
- Supervise Sub-contractors to meet targeted dates.
- Oversee ACMV site progress and coordination.
- Provide regular site progress updates to the Project Manager.
Site Operations:
- Ensure overall adherence to safety practices.
- Collaborate with the Main Contractor to clear site obstructions.
- Perform ad hoc tasks assigned on-site.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Maintain communication and coordinate with Main Contractor and Subcontractors to resolve site issues promptly.
Value Add:
- Experience with DfMA (Design for Manufacturing and Assembly), Ductless Carpark Jet Fan System, ESCS (Engineering Smoke Control System) is an advantage.
- Proactively manage and solve complex construction site problems.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach in addressing ACMV work-related issues.
Requirements:
Education:
- Minimum Professional Certificate / Nitec / Higher Nitec in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience as ACMV or M&E supervisor with a local contractor.
- A team player that is self-motivated, proactive, results-oriented with a proven track record in the construction industry.
- Holds himself/herself accountable for assigned scope.
- Ability to converse and write in English fluently
