Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Protection Analyst to play a pivotal role in reviewing and improving the data governance framework for a established organization in the insurance industry.
Mandatory Skills
- At least 3 to 5 years of work experience in the area of data protection and risk management;
- Good understanding of Singapore's PDPA regulations and other relevant privacy regulations;
- Experience in conducting data breach incident investigation;
- Experience in handing data incident reports / logs;
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and work well under pressure to meet deadlines;
- Able to demonstrate integrity and accountability.
Desirable Skills
- Experience working in the financial and insurance industry;
- Knowledge in Data Protection Management, Business Risk Management, and Cyber and Data Breach Incident Management;
Responsibilities
- Aid in reviewing and improving the data governance framework, policies, standards, guidelines, and data inventory throughout the organization;
- Support the execution of risk and impact assessments;
- Offer guidance to Business Units on personal data protection throughout the various stages of the personal data life cycle;
- Participate in organizing and conducting awareness training sessions on personal data protection to promote awareness across the organization;
- Assist in the investigation of data breach incidents and help implement remediation action plans;
- Oversee the management of the data incident log to ensure its accuracy;
- Assist in preparing data incident summaries and reports to management;
- Provide assistance in the renewal process of Cross-Border Privacy Rules certification;
- Support in any additional ad hoc tasks as required.
