Job Description
Job Purpose:
Responsible for successfully delivering all financial and contractual aspects of the project to meet agreed on targets and standards and to work closely with the construction and project managers.
Key deliverables:
- At least 3 years (s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Preferably candidate specializing in Quantity Surveying, Purchasing/Inventory/Material Management, or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of construction methods and materials.
- To take active responsibility for all financial procedures of a specific proposal or project.
- To manage projects to achieve profitability targets set
- To manage contractual risk under the main contract and incorporate responsibility into subcontractor and supplier appointments
- To take the lead role in the procurements, change control and valuation process
- Be aware of element costings and cost/ft2
- Advise on product selection, and specifications and assist with value engineering exercise
- Prepare a detailed cash flow projection for the project and maintain and update monthly
- Closeout financial account and retention release
- Prepare monthly final account reconciliation (CVR), create a regular budget and price updates, and prepare monthly cost and progress reports for to account team
- Meticulous and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Team worker with good interpersonal skills
- To work closely with the Commercial Director, Project Managers and Designer
- IT Skill (s); Adobe Acrobat, MS Outlook, MS Office, AutoCAD.
