The Role – Business Support Executive
We are looking for a Business Support Executive to support the Head of ESG & Climate Tech Recruitment, APAC (Vinny Chan, LI profile: https://www.linkedin.com/in/vinny-chan-data27/) in recruitment and business operations support in the journey of setting high standards as we progress through rapid expansion in the APAC markets, with current presence in but not limited to Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam and Australia.
In this business enablement role, you get to work hand in hand with the leaders and the team to ensure that the business constantly drives forward with the speed and scale for exponential growth.
The main responsibility is to support recruitment resourcing and research efforts, to continuously help the brand to build up the network, generate leads and meaningful insights. You will be exposed to multiple functions within the business supporting the team in driving sales, training, management, strategy, marketing, talent attraction, digital strategy and business ops.
Responsibilities
There are three main components to this exciting and multifaceted role as follows.
1. KEY Priority - Recruitment Support
- Conduct market research in a timely and effective manner
- Support resourcing needs, i.e market mapping, creating long lists, search for candidates across all available paid & free channels (Linkedin, Monster, Indeed, Internal database)
- Conduct prescreening and career profiling for shortlisted candidates to build up the network in ahead of the curve industries
- Be the advocate to drive best NWP and Tech practices such as postings of job adverts weekly, effective day plans and usage of desk management tool
2. Administration & Operations
- Responsible for managing the schedules and communications to ensure that business decisions are made with urgency and precision
- Coordinate information given from the finance and accounting team on financial performance and work with our executive to push through to sales performance communications and activity
- Help with gathering, distributing and creating documents alongside our executive, through Microsoft tools namely Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Work on any arrangements for meetings or travel plans if required.
- Strong interest in understanding business decision making, with ability to be forward thinking and help connect the dots so nothing gets missed.
3. Conduct Research to drive inside sales activities and leads generation
- Collaborate with the leader to facilitate inside sales initiatives and lead generation efforts.
- Conduct research to identify opportunities for new client meetings and support business development objectives.
- Utilize various tools and resources to actively build a comprehensive market map and long list for Sustainability Tech Companies.
- Implement strategies discussed to add new companies weekly, contributing to the growth of our business development portfolio.
- Establish success metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of inside sales activities and lead generation efforts.
- Leverage available tools and resources efficiently to conduct thorough research for leads in alignment with business goals.
