Job Description
- Working out of estimates for the proposed work
- Putting up traffic control / division plan for work
- Taking and scheming of road levels where required
- Picking up manhole details and existing traffic lines or schemes on the road
- Submit the detailed calculation and plans to the SO
- Do site measurement and prepare job measurement sheets for payment of completed works
- Attend monthly progress payment, operation meeting and other meetings required at LTA office
- Ensure that all plant and equipment are in good working condition and the temporary signing arrangement at site is in accordance with the Code of Practice for Traffic Control at Work Zone (Latest Edition) before the commencement works
- Plan and ensure the smooth operation of the work
- Ensure that the work carried out is according to the Contract Specifications
- Submit weekly progress report on Provisional Quantities, Planned Jobs, Provisional Sum and other duties as assigned by the SO
Job Requirements
- At least 3 years experience of relevant supervision experience in road and road structure construction
- Degree in Civil Engineering recognised by Professional Engineers (PE) Board or qualifications acceptable by the Commissioner of Building Control for the registration as Resident Engineer or as accepted by the SO
