Job Description:
- Strategic Planning: Develop and drive the execution the organization's strategic plan in collaboration with senior leadership, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Special Projects and Initiatives: Lead and manage special projects and initiatives that contribute to the organization's growth and innovation. This may include corporate finance exercises, mergers & acquisitions as well as other strategic endeavors.
- Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends and benchmarking for internal and external benchmarking. Provide insights and recommendations to drive business performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the key business operations and regularly monitor and evaluate the performance against benchmark. Provide timely reports to leadership with recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Collaboration: Foster effective communication and collaboration across departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to strategic planning and execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather input, feedback, and insights that contribute to the refinement of strategic plans.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking, CPA/ACCA or equivalent
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (required to communicate with shareholders in China)
- With 6-8 years of proven related working experience in the area of business analysis, strategic planning and managing special projects.
- Experience in the manufacturing and commodities business would be a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable strategies.
- Handle the preparation of board-level materials.
- Demonstrated experience in driving cross-functional collaboration and managing strategic initiatives, especially those that are time-sensitive.
- Strong modelling skills would be a plus.
