Nanyang Technological University's Centre for IT Services (CITS) is on the search for a Senior Assistant Director of Learning Applications & Solutions. This key position will oversee our digital learning ecosystem, aiming to deliver a impactful and delightful teaching and learning experience for all.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and direction aligned with IT governance standards to design, implement, and maintain robust IT systems.
- Develop and execute project plans to ensure projects are delivered within scope, budget, and timeline constraints.
- Lead and collaborate with stakeholders to integrate learning technologies seamlessly into the existing learning ecosystem ensuring alignment with educational goals
- Lead and collaborate with learning operation teams to establish incident response plans and ensure adherence to predefined SLAs
- Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure projects align with governance frameworks
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline
- Minimum 12 years of experience in IT-related industries with at least 5 years in IT project management and technical leadership role
- Prior experience and understanding of the education industry are advantageous
- Proven technical background in application development using Java, Python, etc
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organisational and leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
