IT Executive

As an IT Executive, you will report to the IT Support Team Lead & provide IT support in day-to-day operations including:


Technical Support:

  • Provide first-level support to end-users via various channels (e.g., phone, email, in-person)
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
  • Assist users with software installation, configuration, and troubleshooting

User Account Management:

  • Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Manage access permissions and security settings for various applications and systems

Hardware and Software Maintenance:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and updates for hardware and software systems (e.g., MS365, Firewall, etc.)
  • Custodian of work laptops and accessories including the provision of specification, procurement, and upgrading/replacement services
  • Monitor and manage inventory of IT equipment

Network Support:

  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues for end-users
  • Assist in the configuration and setup of network devices (e.g., routers, switches, access points)

Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation for IT systems, procedures, and configurations
  • Provide training and guidance to end-users on basic IT tasks

Security and Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security standards
  • Monitor and report any potential security breaches or vulnerabilities

Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with other IT team members to resolve complex issues and implement new solutions
  • Communicate effectively with end-users, providing clear instructions and updates

Problem Resolution and Escalation:

  • Identify and escalate critical issues to higher-level support or management as needed
  • Collaborate with external vendors or specialists when required

Stay Informed:

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies
  • Participate in relevant training and professional development activities
