Job Description
The Assistant, People Partner provides HR operations support to the Group, serving as part of a shared function for multiple business units. Reporting directly to the Head of People & Culture, the role focuses on facilitating Human Capital initiatives and execution at a Group level.
The individual in this role works closely with various stakeholders cross functionally and collaborates with hiring managers. He/ She is able to handle candidate sourcing, screening, facilitate effective onboarding. He/ She will also administrate monetary & non-monetary benefits, and addressing employee issues.
The ideal incumbent ensures the engagement of the workforce by executing employee engagement activities, and working with a proactive, team-oriented, and technology-adaptable approach.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Talent Attraction, Employee Experience & Relations
- Source candidates for job vacancies as assigned by the Head of People & Culture
- Deliver the full spectrum of onboarding and orientation for new hires
- Manage retail part-timers in accordance to boutique manpower requirements
- Process Work Pass applications and renewal (Work Permits, SPass, EPass etc)
- Administer headcount reporting
Employee Compensation & Benefits
- Process payroll and benefits
- Maintain historical and current employee data in HR for HR Data Analytics
- Prepare and facilitate the mandated government surveys under the Statistics Act (e.g. Labour Market Surveys etc)
Talent Engagement
- Facilitate employee engagement survey
Education & Qualifications:
- Minimum Diploma majoring in Business Studies and/or Human Resources or related fields
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Info-Tech HRMS will be an added advantage
