- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze system requirements.
- Design robust and scalable solutions using Microsoft .NET, C#/VB.NET/Java, and other relevant technologies.
- Develop and implement software applications using Microsoft .NET framework (version 4.5 and above), C#, VB.NET, and Java.
- Utilize Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2 Mainframe, and other database technologies to design, implement, and optimize database solutions.
- Responsible for achieving his/her weekly work plan (targets) through tracking and ensure team hits dateline set out for the team.
- Take up ownership and drive through all issues faced by the team, e.g. address issues escalated from team members to resolve them in a prompt manner.
- Escalate to Group Lead in a timely manner when issues or problems cannot be resolved.
- Ensure that team members follow the AM(Application Maintenance) processes and perform periodic reviews to ensure consistency.
- Actively observe and highlight to Group Lead areas for improvement in AM processes.
- Provide technical guidance or mentorship to fellow team members.
- Provide timely feedback to team members to assist and develop team members in technical and functional specialties.
- Ensure high team morale and efficient/professional work attitude.
- Manage the production application source codes, configuration files, database changes, related documentation, etc for all modules under their charge. Review and approve any changes to these documents before checking into central repository.
- Take up the role of Group Lead in his/her absence when appointed.
- Additional tasks assigned by IRAS management.
- Proven experience in system analysis and design, with a focus on Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Strong programming skills in C#, VB.NET, and Java.
- Proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2 Mainframe, and other relevant databases.
- Familiarity with integration technologies such as IBM Message Broker, Ascential Datastage, TIBCO, etc.
- Experience with decision support systems (FairIsaac Blaze Advisor, COGNOS, Adobe) and workflow automation tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
