MMR is looking for a Sensory Assistant Manager/ Manager to join our growing sensory teams, our sensory assistant manager/ manager will be based in Singapore, but you will be working as part of the wider Global Sensory Team, working with fellow sensory experts around the Globe.

The Sensory Assistant Manager/ Manager role:

This exciting and brilliant opportunity entails many responsibilities which will help you to develop professionally on the job, you will be supported by some of the very best sensory experts globally.

Role responsibilities:

The Sensory Assistant Manager/ Manager will be reporting directly to Asia Sensory Director and will be leading a team of panel leaders and assistant based in Singapore to drive sensory operational excellence. He/ She will also provide support and guidance to newly set up India sensory team in sensory activities.

He/ She will manage ASEAN and India client accounts. These may include sensory panel recruitment, training, project execution, panel management, analysis and reporting and assisting with HR issues that arise from running the panels (with support from our HR team).

He/ she will be providing consultancy and training to clients to help build sensory awareness, capabilities and insights across wider communities in Asia. He/ she will be responsible for clients briefing, proposal writing and quotations creation for client projects (relating to ad-hoc sensory work, panel set up, training or management). He/ she will be required to collaborate with consumer team in study design and to establish linkages between sensory and consumer data to enable synthesis of actionable product insights. 

Skills and experience:

  • We are looking for a sensory professional who has minimum 4-5 years of experience in management of trained descriptive panel, has extensive knowledge in various sensory discriminative and descriptive methods, is passionate in driving sensory research with our clients and handling client research needs.
  • Ideally educated to degree level in a related field, managerial experience will be a bonus and be able to multi-task. Excellent communication skills are essential.
