We are seeking a meticulous, adaptable, and proactive person, with a gift for prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment! Fluency in Japanese is crucial for this role. If you fit this description, we invite you to join our Trust & Safety Team based in our X Singapore office!

What You’ll Do:

As a Japanese-Speaking Law Enforcement Requests Associate, your responsibilities will include:

  • Global Information Requests: Efficiently handle information requests from around the world, emphasizing meticulous document intake and processing.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members in Ireland, San Francisco, and Singapore to prioritize requests and maintain operational consistency.
  • Process Enhancement: Continuously improve processes for efficiency and consistency.
  • On-Call Rotation: Participate in an on-call rotation to ensure timely responses to emergency requests globally.
  • Representation: Potentially represent X in witness testimony or other external engagements.

Requirements:

You have:

  • Fluency in Japanese for effective communication
  • Passion and enthusiasm for protecting user privacy and freedom of expression
  • Experience processing requests for user information
  • A collaborative and optimistic mindset

You are:

  • At ease with providing clear and concise responses to time-sensitive requests
  • An excellent communicator, and will maintain open, thorough, and regular communication with teammates and cross-functional teams
  • Adaptability to thrive in a dynamic work environment.
  • Capable of spotting anomalies or unusual patterns
  • Attentive to detail, organized, and able to prioritize tasks in a dynamic work environment
  • A keen decision maker, self-motivated, and a team player
  • At ease with ambiguity

You can:

  • Deliver consistently high-quality work
  • See projects through from start to finish
  • Work on weekends. Schedule could include Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday
  • Work from the X office full time
