NTUC Health Co-operative Limited (NTUC Health) is an NTUC social enterprise that provides a comprehensive and integrated suite of quality and affordable health and elderly care services to meet the growing needs of families and their dependents. Building on more than five decades of experience and expertise, NTUC Health is among the largest senior day care, nursing home, and home personal care providers in Singapore. We also offer other services for seniors such as active ageing centres, community support for vulnerable seniors, and a sheltered senior group home. In addition, we run a chain of dental clinics and a family medicine clinic.
RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for managing and supervising a team of support staff to ensure the smooth operations of the Day Care Centre. Duties include staff management, Clients enquires, feedbacks and complaints and clients behavior management.
A. Manage daily centre operations
- Ensure the smooth management of centre operations e.g. scheduling, documentation, cleanliness of workplace & client safety
- Ensure that enrolment targets are met through partnerships and marketing
- Lead and supervise care team to deliver care duties
- Meet guests and visitors in a friendly and welcoming manner and manage timely follow-up to their queries
- Increase productivity through the continual streamlining of processes and workflows
- Ensure compliance with International Organization for Standardization (ISO), regulatory and internal audits
- Lead the team to build up a credible professional image and positive branding of NTUC Health through positive and professional relationships with clients, caregivers and other stakeholders
- Ensure that the team attend continuous internal and external training to upskill their knowledge and skills.
B. Oversee the centre programme for our seniors. This includes the following:
- Organise and execute activities that cater to needs and interests of seniors
- Train and guide care staff to lead and facilitate small group activities
- Promote active engagement and tailor participation of activities to seniors choices and abilities
- Track clients outcomes and satisfaction
C. Proactively engage the caregivers of our seniors
- Provide regular updates of seniors medical and health conditions
- Communicate the beneficial outcomes of the centre activities and events
- Manage feedback and complaints from caregiver
D. Responsible for incident management including reporting, timely escalation and timely resolution where possible
QUALIFICATIONS- Degree holder or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of managerial experience
- Ability to listen and express clearly and concisely
- Facilitation skills and knowledge would be an advantage
- Proficiency in Google Suite and digital tools (WhatsApp, Youtube, Zoom)
- Demonstrate adaptive skills such as creativity and adopt new ways of getting things done
OTHER INFORMATION
- Ability to lead people and manage clients from diverse background and level
- Have a caring, empathetic and patient personality to establish positive relationship with seniors and caregivers
- Proactive and observant in identifying and attending to the needs of seniors and staff
- Some experience in community and volunteer involvement would be an advantage
