Job Description
- Provide support to the contract manager
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities which involves quantity take-off, materials sourcing, measuring and estimating costs used in the tendering process.
- To do cost comparison.
- Ensure contract quantities and VOs are up to date for awarded projects and cost benefit analysis.
- Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project work.
- Manage resolution of contractual claims of a wide variety of projects from per-tender to post-contract stage.
- Assist in handling and managing all cost aspects of interior design and project management from inception to completion.
- Prepare progress claims in a timely manner (when needed).
- Issue purchase order
- To work closely with different departments.
- May be required to attend site survey when required.
Requirements
- Candidate with at least 1 - 2 years of experience within a Design & Build or similar working environment as a Quantity Surveyor are welcome.
- Preferably specialized in fit out / Interior Design or equivalent.
- Candidate must possess at least Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying.
- Experienced in large commercial / corporate office fit out projects for new build and renovations.
- Previous experience of delivering projects with an understanding of challengers faced in terms of skill in time, cost and quality control and how to overcome them and exceed expectations.
- Knowledge in MS Office including Excel, Word and Power Point.
- Knowledge of MEP will be advantageous.
- Familiar with Gebiz tender process (May required).
