Requirements
- Candidate must possess at least a diploma, degree, professional degree in Nursing or equivalent
- Candidate must be a State Registered Nurse with a valid certificate by the Singapore Nursing Board
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the nursing care of the service users by assessing, planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating nursing care to meet the needs of the service users
- Pack and administer medication, perform basic screening and nursing procedures such as wound dressing and administration of injection
- Communicate and discuss service users’ progress and response to treatment with doctors, nursing and allied health colleagues
- Document and record care and treatment provided to service users and service users’ progress
- Provide health education to service users
- Provide nursing inputs and participate in case conferences/discussions
- Assist in carrying out evacuation procedure and implementing safe management measures in the centre
- Provide caregiving education and training to caregivers
- Provide nursing inputs and participate in clinical/service quality improvement activities and digitalisation efforts
